The movie material was digitally redone and many color filters were applied. "Ghost in the Shell 2.0" is a revised version of the original movie and should not be confused with the sequel "Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence". The movie was internationally commended and is supposed to have been used as inspiration for "The Matrix". "Ghost in the Shell" ist an anime many only know because of the music video for Wamdue Project's "King of My Castle", however, it really is an anime adaptation of the manga with the same name by Maamune Shirow.
